PACKING APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packing apparatus which improves packing strength of a unit body and simplifies an operation of opening a through hole for a screw. SOLUTION: The packing apparatus 100 consists of: box-shaped shells 101 and 101 102 each made of corrugated fiberboard and placed on the bottom and the top of the unit body 22 of a ceiling-embedded-type air conditioner; and a plurality of bands 103 for binding the shells together with the unit body. At least one box-shaped shells 102 includes a box-shaped shell member made of corrugated fiberboard and a cushioning medium made of corrugated fiberboard and placed inside the shell member, and the cushioning member is fixed to the inner wall of the shell member via an inward folding piece formed on the shell member.
