PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for cultivating mushroom enabling omission of troublesome fungi scratching operation or disbudding operations. SOLUTION: This method for cultivating mushroom comprises the following steps (a), (b), (c) and (d): Step (a) of spreading mushroom hypha on a culture medium 30 charged in a container 10; Step (b) of preventing whole the periphery of the culture medium 30 where the spread mushroom hypha are cultured from getting out in the open air; Step (c) of making roughly V-shaped cuts 40 on plural portions of the peripheral wall of the container 10; and Step (d) where a mushroom fruit body 50 spores germination from the cultured culture medium 30 at the back side of the portion having the cut 40 at the peripheral wall of the container 10 and pushes up a cut piece 42 outward so as to make the mushroom fruit body 50 grow outward.
