PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agricultural work machine compactified, of low-cost, underslung, improved in cultivation operability, body stability and handleability and capable of decreasing stuck soil on a rotary. SOLUTION: The agricultural work machine comprises an engine 3, a cultivation shaft 2 and a cultivation unit 20, wherein the cultivation shaft is driven by the engine 3, the cultivation unit 20 has cultivation claws 21 driven by the cultivation shaft 2 and a rotary cover 22 covering the outside of the claws 21. The rotary cover 22 is supported by a member supporting the engine 3. The cultivation mechanism 20 and the engine 3 are set to overlap each other when viewed in a plane. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
