ORGAN REJECTION MONITORING

Techniques for monitoring organ rejection using implanted device to monitor the impedance of the transplanted organ. When the impedance measurements indicate that the organ is being rejected, the device provides early warning of rejection. The impedance of the transplanted organ may be monitored with respect to a baseline impedance value, or with respect to a reference impedance value from a reference organ or for a change in variations or periodic impedance values.
