PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide toner having stable electrostatic charge properties, causing neither fogging nor defective transfer, and excellent in transfer efficiency. SOLUTION: The toner used in an image forming apparatus in which a toner image obtained by developing an electrostatic latent image formed on a photoreceptor is transferred onto a recording medium and fixed, comprises an electrostatic charge controlling agent supported on an inorganic porous body as well as a binder resin, a colorant and an external additive, and is subjected to thermal shaping such as hot air globing.
