PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reagent container that can prevent the evaporation/deterioration of a reagent and the occurrence of contamination and can be easily, inexpensively manufactured and to provide an automatic analyzer. SOLUTION: The reagent comprises a container body 2, having an opening 3, and a cap 4 that is fitted to the opening 3 and is made of an elastic material for blocking the opening 3. The cap 4 has a cross-like cut 4a, elastically deforms a cap piece 4b near the cut 4a by pressing and inserting a guide pipe 6 into the cut 4a from the outside, and is formed so that the inside and outside of the container body 2 can communicate with each other via the guide pipe 6.
