PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel injection valve capable of preventing deposit generated when gasoline is burned from adhering to the surface of the fuel injection valve for a direct-injection gasoline engine or allowing an easy peeling of the adhered deposit from the surface of the fuel injection valve. SOLUTION: In this fuel injection valve for the direct-injection gasoline engine, a reaction fixing layer of perfluoropolyether-based compound having alkoxysilane mold at the end thereof is formed on the surface of the fuel injection valve.
