PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a housing box which dispenses with unlocking operation thereof by automatically unlocking a locking member 16 without pressing back a wing 5 by a user. SOLUTION: The housing box having a locking function upon occurrence of an earthquake, is constructed in the following manner. The wing 5 is pivoted to an opening 4 of a frame 3 in a manner being openable and energized toward the frame 3. A locking device main body 1 having the locking member 16 is arranged on an opening inner surface 8A of the frame 3, and the locking member 16 assumes an unlocking position A in normal times and moves to a locking position B under vibration conditions. The wing 5 has an engaged member 40 arranged on an inner surface 5A thereof, with which the locking member 16 assuming the locking position B engages, and the locking member 16 is returned to the unlocking position A when the wing 5 is moved in a closing direction. According to the housing box thus constructed, an energizing force F in the wing 5 closing direction is set to a value that can return the locking member 16 to the unlocking position A.
