PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a receiver for receiving a plurality of media, capable of improving the reliability and functions for received signals by using the plurality of media in combination. SOLUTION: A transmission medium to be used for reception is selected on the basis of information about the result of evaluation of the quality of received signals, and about an order of reception priority of the plurality of transmission media and control information for selecting the transmission media to be used for reception according to a predetermined algorithm.
