A removable storage cartridge includes a cartridge loading ramp component, such that when the storage cartridge is inserted into a drive an actuator can slide along the cartridge loading ramp component to position read/write heads on a storage disk in the cartridge. The drive includes a corresponding drive loading ramp component to facilitate support of the actuator that has been retracted to an unloaded position. |
