<p>The invention relates to an improved automatic hooking device which can be mounted on a fishing rod. The inventive device comprises a rail (1) which is fixed to the fishing rod (4) at three points and on which the following components can slide: (i) a mobile reel seat (8) which is connected to an elastic member (13), said elastic member being pulled when the line (26) is tightened, and (ii) an intermediary, position-adjustable support which is equipped with a pivoting sole and which is fixed to the rod (4) using mounting rings (20, 21). The invention can be used with all types of fishing rods and, once the end of the line has been pulled slightly, the device enables the catch to be hooked automatically and instantaneously without the involvement of the person fishing.</p> |
