A method for graphical printing of a time series in quasi-real time on a standard personal computer, in which a commercial grade PC with Windows(Tm) or Linux(Tm) can be used and in the operating system the print- or spool-system is used with a commercial grade matrix- or inkjet-printer used with the original drives and an additional software prepares the time series corresponding to technology of the output medium and relays it with the use of the spool-system at/on the printer.
