<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an NK(natural killer) cell activator or a CTL(cytotoxic T lymphocyte) activator realizing NK activation or CTL activation by its oral administration, thereby having efficacy for tumors, viral infectious diseases or inflammatory diseases, and to provide a method for screening therapeutic agents, NK cell activation promotive substances or CTL activation promotive substances for such tumors, viral infectious diseases or inflammatory diseases. <P>SOLUTION: The NK cell activator or the CTL activator, preferably for oral use, comprises gliadin-coated melon-derived SOD (superoxide dismutase) and preferably sorbit and/or glycerol. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
