COMMUNICATION PROTOCOL TEST SYSTEM, AND MASTER APPARATUS, SLAVE APPARATUS, AND MONITOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem of a conventional technology that a generating time of an inter-protocol-layer message inside a communication apparatus cannot be compared with a generating time of a message transmitted/received between apparatuses on the basis of the same time base.

SOLUTION: Disclosed herein is a communication protocol test system comprising: a master apparatus; at least one slave apparatus; and a monitor. The master apparatus transmits clock information of its own station at start of communication. Further, the slave apparatus and the monitor calculate a difference between the received clock information and clock information of its own station and generate a time stamp in compliance with the clock information of the master apparatus. The master apparatus and the slave apparatus provide a time stamp in compliance with the clock information of the master apparatus to a message generated in its own station and transmitted/received between a plurality of protocol layers and store the resulting message. The monitor monitors the message transmitted/received between the master apparatus and the slave apparatus, provides the time stamp in compliance with the clock information of the master apparatus and stores the resulting message. Then the monitor compares the stored time stamp attached messages and performs a communication processing analysis.
