摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To constitute a touch intensity detector in such a manner that the touch intensity information calculated as performance data can be more approximated to the true touch intensity even in case of occurrence of an adverse phenomenon that production of smaller tones is resulted in actuality in spite of a strong touch of a key due to the rigidity etc., of the key. <P>SOLUTION: The touch intensity detector provided with a touch intensity information calculating means for calculating the information on the touch intensity based on the state of the key passing a prescribed section and for outputting the result of the calculation as the performance data and a judging means for comparing the information on the touch intensity of this time calculated by the touch intensity information calculating means and the information on the touch intensity of the previous time relating to the same key and for judging whether the touch intensity of this time is smaller or greater in excess of the prescribed value is provided.
