摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain material supply equipment for an injection molding machine and a controlling method therefor which reduce the residual air or the like incidental to materials such as magnesium alloy chips to minute quantities, by using a vacuum pump of a small capacity of which the ultimate vacuum is relatively high. SOLUTION: The materials being put hermetically in a treating chamber 20 communicating airtightly with an injection cylinder 40 of the injection molding machine, the gas in the treating chamber 20 is exhausted till a prescribed pressure is reached, and then an inactive gas is injected until the atmospheric pressure is reached substantially. This treatment is repeated in a plurality of times. The work for injection molding is continued stably by a feed forward control that the quantities of the materials to be charged in the treating chamber 20 are regulated by estimating the bulk density of the materials or that the quantities of the materials to be charged in the chamber 20 are increased when the repetitive treatment in a plurality of times is delayed.
