PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve accuracy in opening control of an intake throttle valve by preventing backlash in a mechanical reduction gear in an intake throttle valve driving device constituted to transmit motor rotation to an intake throttle valve by reducing the speed by the mechanical reduction gear. SOLUTION: The mechanical reduction gear is composed of a driving gear 6 of a motor rotating shaft; a throttle valve gear 7 of an intake throttle valve rotating shaft; and an intermediate gear 10 (gears 8, 9) interposed between the driving gear 6 and the throttle valve gear 7. A permanent magnet is used as the material of the intermediate gear 10, driving gear 6 and throttle valve gear 7, and magnetic poles are set to generate magnetic repulsion between the driving gear 6 and intermediate gear 10, and between the intermediate gear 10 and throttle valve gear 7.
