PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce various costs by improving efficiency in laying work to a backing of a roof finishing material, restraining the generation of waste at a construction site, preventing the fouling of the roof finishing material at construction work, and facilitating various works such as accumulation, carrying, storage and construction work on the roof finishing material. SOLUTION: This lightweight roof finishing material has a base and a tab for press-fitting and forming an inorganic layer on both the obverse and reverse, and is superior in flexibility and backing follow-up performance in asphalt single, nonflammable single and the other for successively laying a roof by superposing the tab on the base joined to a roof backing part at a laying time. A pressure sensitive adhesive layer is formed in a prescribed surface place of the roof finishing material, and a separation sheet material easily attachable to and detachable from the pressure sensitive adhesive layer is stuck to a position corresponding to the pressure sensitive adhesive layer when superposed on the reverse by further opposing the obverse and reverse of the roof finishing material.
