Disclosed is a fuel injection valve comprising an injection valve member (28), by means of which at least one injection port (32) is controlled and which is at least indirectly impinged upon in a closing direction by the pressure prevailing in a control pressure chamber (48). The pressure prevailing in the control pressure chamber (48) is controlled by means of a control valve (20) that is provided with a valve space (54) which encompasses a connection (56) to the control pressure chamber (48). A throttle point is located within said connection (56). The control valve (20) comprises a control valve member (64), by means of which a connection from the valve space (54) to a high pressure area (46) and a connection (62) from the valve space (54) to a relief area are controlled. The control pressure chamber (48) can be connected to the high pressure area (46) only via the valve space (54) and the connection (60) thereof, which is controlled by the control valve member (64). |
