The invention relates to a statically and electrically optimized, externally cylindrical self-supporting antenna carrier (3) for receiving antennae (4) and technical components (4.1). The antenna carrier to be encased (4) is provided with a central axis (1.1) or mast core (2) upon which three spider arms (1) are engaged in a direction leading away from said axis or mast core. The invention is characterized in that cylindrical encasement (6) of the antenna carrier (3) is carried out by means of a wrap-around GFK material such that a GFK casing is applied, said casing being deposited on the ends of the spider arms (1) which include additional bearing surfaces (5) therefor. Dimensional stabilization of the relatively thin GFK casing occurs by means of additional bearing surfaces (5) which are adapted in the curvature thereof. The following items can be provided as additional bearing surfaces (5) engaging at the ends of the spider arms (1): concentric reinforcement rings (5.1) which are arranged at regular distances with a 360 DEG peripheral line on the three spider arms (1), and reinforcing sheets of metal (5.2) which are arranged between the reinforcement rings on all spider arms and which are respectively fixed to a single spider arm (1) at a peripheral angle of approximately 15 DEG , enlarging the bearing surface in a peripheral direction of the casing. . |
