<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for efficiently leaching copper at an ordinary temperature from chalcopyrite-containing copper sulfide ore to which application of conventional leaching methods such as acid leaching and bacterial leaching has been difficult. <P>SOLUTION: In the process for leaching copper from chalcopyrite-containing copper sulfide ore, a sulfide bulk concentrate, obtained from high-quality copper sulfide ore having a high sulfide mineral content through floatation, is kneaded with low-quality copper sulfide ore having a low sulfide mineral content to prepare and deposit a granulated substance. Using an iron sulfate leaching solution having an iron concentration of 1-20 g/l and a pH of 1.0-2.5 and maintaining a redox potential of the leaching solution at 350-450 mV (Ag-AgCl electrode), heap leaching, bat leaching or column leaching is performed to leach copper. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
