<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seawater distilling apparatus by which salt and fresh water can be manufactured efficiently at the same time by distilling seawater. <P>SOLUTION: A thermally stratified chamber 4 is arranged inside a condensation chamber 1 for condensing vaporized water. A seawater outflow port of a seawater supplying pipe 6 for introducing raw seawater 5 into the chamber 4 is opened upward toward the seawater surface 5a in the chamber 4. A heating means h is arranged between the seawater outflow port and the surface 5a. A heat recovering means 10 provided with a fin is arranged in the chamber 1. A heat transferring means 9 connected to the means 10 is immersed in the seawater 5 in the chamber 4 for preheating the seawater 5 in the chamber 4 by making good use of the heat of condensation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
