FACE DETECTION SYSTEM AND METHOD, AND FACE IMAGE AUTHENTICATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a face detection system and method, and a face image authentication method which correctly and quickly judge whether an input face image is hidden, no matter what type of face image is input.

SOLUTION: The method comprises the steps of: extracting eigenvectors and weights from the input face image using a principal component analysis; and substituting the extracted eigenvectors and weights of a user for a concealment judgement algorithm, whereby judging whether the face image is hidden.
