<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a blood pressure measuring device and a blood pressure measuring method by which a blood pressure is easily and precisely measured at a low restraint without using a cuff. <P>SOLUTION: This blood pressure measuring device has a measuring unit which measures a blood flow velocity of a living body, and a measuring unit which measures a plethysmogram. A blood flow rate and a blood vessel resistance are calculated from information acquired by the blood flow velocity measuring unit and the plethysmogram measuring unit, and the blood pressure measuring device is constituted to precisely measure the blood pressure. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
