PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct a foundation pile structure with good working efficiency, the foundation pile structure being simple and having an enlarged portion positively reinforced via a steel frame, at a lower end or an intermediate portion thereof. SOLUTION: The foundation pile structure has the steel-reinforced enlarged portion at the bottom or/and the intermediate portion of the pile, and the enlarged portion is larger in diameter than the pile. Specifically the pile structure is formed of a standard pile or a cage, and a cylindrical steel reinforcing body 10A fixed to a lower end and/or an intermediate portion of the standard pile or the cage. The steel reinforcing body 10A has a plurality of small-rigidity portions 14a to 14d, and is formed so as to bend and expand the portions 14a to 14d upon application of a compressive force thereto in the vertical direction. Therefore the steel reinforcing body 10A is expanded to form a reinforcing member at the enlarged portion of the pile. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
