PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small axial-flow fan motor used for an OA/AV equipment which is economical with less vibration and allows easy dynamic balance correction. SOLUTION: A leaf spring weight 16 is provided with a notch 17, which is press-fitted through an opening 8 of a rotor assembly 7. The outer peripheral part of the top surface of an impeller is provided with a plurality of openings, through which an elastic plate-like weight is inserted and fixed between a back yoke and the impeller. Since the impeller is not cut with this configuration, inclusion of foreign substance, like cutting flash, or occurrence of abnormal sound is prevented. Since the weight is inserted and fixed between the back yoke and the impeller with no adhesive, the elastic force of the weight assures fixing. Thus, a dynamic balance is surely corrected in a simple process. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
