ELECTRODE CATALYST, AND FUEL CELL USING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell for a portable equipment capable of improving an energy density by lowering an internal resistance loss. SOLUTION: The electrode catalyst containing a catalyst and a proton conductive material has a larger electron conductivity in a direction toward an inner face of an electrode than in a vertical direction of the electrode. Resistivity of the electrode can be drastically lowered by adding scaly graphite as a highly conductive material to a material constituting the electrode. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
