PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording disk control method which allows random access on a recording disk at high speed while maintaining a real time property. SOLUTION: A block allocator 1 decides a skew so that the rotation waiting of a head in an average head moving distance becomes small, locates a data block at a predetermined position on a disk 5 based on the skew, and generates its block map 3. A scheduler 2 performs scheduling which rearranges the order of a plurality of access requests 40 so that the amount of head movements decrease, and outputs an access indication to a SCSI device driver 6 in the order scheduled.
