The present invention provides compositions and methods for augmenting vaccine immunogenicity using mucin-immunoglobulin fusion proteins. The vaccine of the invention comprises: (a) an adjuvant polypeptide comprising a first polypeptide operably linked to a second polypeptide, wherein the first polypeptide is a mucin polypeptide and is glycosylated by a alpha 1,3 galactosyltransferase and the second polypeptide comprises at least a region of an immunoglobulin polypeptide and, (b) an antigen. |
