<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion detector capable of precisely recognizing the spatial position, attitude and motion of a worn matter. <P>SOLUTION: This motion detector comprises an inertial motion detection part 30 for detecting the inertial motion of an object of measurement by use of at least one of an acceleration sensor 20 and an angular speed sensor 10; an imaging part 40 for picking up an image around the object of measurement, an image comparison part 50 for comparing images picked up by the imaging part 40 at different points of time, a camera position and attitude acquisition part 60 for detecting the position and attitude of the object by use of the comparison result of the images by the image comparison part 50, and a spatial position and attitude acquisition part 70 for detecting the spatial position and attitude of the object based on the information obtained by the inertial motion detection part 30 and the camera position and attitude acquisition part 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
