PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To identify from which paper money handling appratus a housinge device is collected when housing devices containing paper money are collected from a plurality of paper money handling apparatuses. SOLUTION: A detection sensor (45) reads codes specifying respective paper-money handling appratuses which are recorded on a card (3) in an optically or magnetically readable state, and a discriminative conveyance controller (47) of a paper money discrimianting device (2) stores code signals in a code storage device (32). An amount storage device (99) receives and stores code information representing the codes stored in the code storage device (32) and the amounts and number of bills (44) that the discriminative conveyance controller (47) determines to be true. A reader (8) reads paper money information and code information stored in the amount storage device (99) of a housinge part separated from a paper money discriminating device (2) to specify the paper money handling device from which the housing device (4) is collected, and can accurately collate the amount of collected paper money (44) with the amount of paper money (44) which is determined to be true by the paper money discriminating device (2) .
