PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cap mounting structure capable of achieving stable mounting of a cap to an air cleaner case. SOLUTION: A hook part 22a at lower part of a cap 22 is rotatably engaged in a pin part 21c at lower end part of an air cleaner case 21. A latch part 22b at upper part of the cap 22 is removably engaged in an engaging part 21d at upper part of the air cleaner case 21, and the cap 22 is mounted on the air cleaner case 21. In mounting the cap, an abutting part 31 of the cap 22 is pushed to an end part of a splitting prevention plate 25 in the side of the air cleaner 21 to energize in such direction that the engagement of the engaging part 21d of the air cleaner case 21 and the latch part 22b of the cap 22 is not released.
