PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tubificid preserve for an aquarium for ornamental fish, enabling the preservation of tubificid in fresh state in the aquarium of the fish for a long period without excessively contaminating the water and the automatic feeding of tubificid to the fish, or the like, for a long period in the case of a long absence from a house. SOLUTION: An inner vessel 4 having water-passing holes both on the side wall 24 and the bottom 19 of the inner vessel is placed in an outer vessel 5 having water-passing holes 12 both on the side wall 24 and the bottom 22 of the outer vessel. A floating member 3 is attached to the outer circumference of the outer vessel 5, a lid 2 is detachably attached to the opening 17 of the inner vessel and water for the aquarium is poured from a filtering apparatus 7 through an insertion port 8 opened on the top of the lid 2.
