Implant consists of a compression-resistant hollow body made from two open receptacles (3, 4) which are pressed apart with insertion of filler material or by insertion of a filler made from an elastomer (12) to expand the hollow body after it has been implanted. Preferred Features: The implant is fitted to a feed tube which is connected at one end to a device for producing the required filling pressure. An instrument for introducing the hollow body is attached to the hole (8) provided for connecting the feed tube. The filler material is made from a self-hardening material.
