<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air treating device for a kitchen capable of maintaining good working environment even when exhaust from a cooker cannot be exhausted outside. <P>SOLUTION: A cooking appliance S provided with an air treating part 1 disposed above a fryer 5 for cooking food in a kitchen and used as the air treating device for kitchen for treating exhaust from the fryer 5 is provided with a grease filter 20 for eliminating oil content in the exhaust from the fryer 5; a cooler 13 of a cooling device 6 for eliminating moisture in the exhaust from the fryer 5; a deodorizer 9 for eliminating odor components in the exhaust from the fryer 5; and a blower 7 for supplying the exhaust from the fryer 5 to the cooler 13 and the deodorizer 9 via the grease filter 20. An air guide plate 35 is provided on the air down stream side from the grease filter 20, and the grease filter 20 side surface of the air guide plate 35 is formed as a bent surface with an obtuse angle, or as a curved surface. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
