<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image information management method, system, program, and recording medium with which collection of image information can be easily and efficiently carried out. <P>SOLUTION: This method for acquiring image information from a portable terminal, and for managing it by a server comprises: a step for making the server receive the image information with which photographic attributes including the information of at least a terminal identifier among a photographic position, time, and terminal identifier are associated from the portable terminal; a step for storing the received image information in an image database; a step for recording the storage frequency of the image information and the use condition of the image information by the others in a use condition database; and a step for reducing the use sum of the portable terminal being the transmission origin of the image information according to the storage frequency or use condition of the use condition database. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
