<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for providing information associated with the written contents of even a paper medium such as a book prepared not on the assumption that this system is cooperating with an outside digital information providing system. <P>SOLUTION: The constituting elements(pages, titles, charts or the like) of a book are registered in a book database, and the association information of the book with outside information is stored in an association database.
