PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a convex form adapter which conquers the faults of a face blade and an adapter of a conventional protrusion and is easily and quickly controlled in order to be in agreement with the size and profile of the stoma of a wearing person. SOLUTION: The convex form adapter has an adapter ring 20 formed from an adhesive which is as a whole soft and tacky, and contains hydrophile colloid of hygroscopic and water expanding nature (this holds its profile in case of hydration and can recover the profile when compressive force is removed), and a thin and substantially unstretchable cover film 24 which extends over and beyond the face of the convex form identity side of the ring. The film is removably attached to the ring and is preferably transparent (or translucent) so that at least the profile of the ring is seen through it. A release sheet 25, which is flexible and unstretchable, is removably attached to the pouch side face on the opposite side of the ring and can be stripped from the ring in an initial stage of use of this product.
