AN INFLATABLE DEVICE FOR USE IN IMPULSE THERAPY

A device for use in intermittent impulse therapy to parts of the human body particularly the foot. It comprises a foot wrap incorporating an inflatable bladder which is applied to the area to be treated when the foot wrap is secured in place. To improve the operating efficiency of the devices for example better to absorb the energy of infilling fluid applied under pressure with a consequent reduction in noise, the bladder is tethered to the foot wrap in a unique manner in accordance with the invention, thereby to provide the bladder with a certain degree of movement on the foot wrap not heretofore possible in the prior art.
