<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive electrode and a battery in which high load characteristics are obtained even if the thickness is made large, and a manufacturing method of those. <P>SOLUTION: The positive electrode mixture layer 12 contains a powder form positive electrode active material, a powder form binder, and a powder form conductive agent, and has a through hole 12A formed by cohesive force of these powders. The through hole 12A is formed by utilizing cohesive force of the powders by using the positive electrode mixture slurry that contains a particle 12B having a particle size of less than 1 μm in the range 8 vol% or more and 15 vol% or less to the solid content. The positive electrode mixture layer 12 has been made to have better movement of ion by the through hole 12A, thereby obtaining high load characteristics even if the thickness is made thicker. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
