SUBSTRATE FOR SOLAR CELL, ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD, AND SOLAR CELL USING IT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new substrate for solar cell, a method of manufacturing the substrate, and a solar cell using the substrate.

SOLUTION: The substrate for solar cell provided with a semiconductor layer which functions as a light absorbing layer is also provided with a conductive main body 11 and one multilayered film 12 formed on the main body 11. The multilayered film 12 contains a first insulating layer 12a which is brought into contact with the main body 11, and a second insulating layer 12b disposed on the surface of the first insulating layer 12a opposite to the main body 11. The porosity of the first insulating layer 12a is higher than that of the second insulating layer 12b.
