PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem associated with a control scheme in which entire display screen is turned off when a failure stage is generated.

SOLUTION: When all display stages (first to third stages) are used to display prescribed display data and any one of the display stage becomes a failure stage in an on-vehicle traffic signal device 10, prescribed related display data are selected and displayed among a plurality of the related display data that are beforehand set in accordance with the display data based on a corresponding table D300 stored in an HDD35 and based on priority or the like. Thus, the related display data which are capable of transmitting similar information contained in the display data are displayed employing the display stages that can be operated while avoiding the failure stages.
