PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet communication system capable of suppressing a load imparted to the system while adding a routing header.
SOLUTION: An SN stores an address of a TN to first repeat a packet in a destination address storage region ("Dst." field in Fig (a)). Besides, the SN adds an RHO (routing header) to the packet and stores an address of a TN and an address of a DN 50 to further repeat the packet in its via address storage region ("Slot 1-3" fields in Fig (a)). In each of TN on a route, the address stored in Slot 1 is written in the destination address storage region, and data after Slot 2 are shifted forwards for the size of Slot 1 (Fig (b1)-(d)). Thus, each time the packet is repeated by the TN, the unwanted address is deleted, such that the size of the packet is suppressed.
COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
|
