<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cable cover stripping method which enables a cover to be cut in a certain depth without a slit meandering irrespective of the outside diameter of a cable and besides makes the cover and a lead wire easy to separate, and a cable cover stripper which is fit for it. <P>SOLUTION: This cable stripper is equipped with a cable feeding mechanism 2 which has a pair of rollers for rolling in and sending a cable with torque opposite to each other, a cutting mechanism 3 which has a plurality of rotating edges made integrally with at least one hand of the above rollers and that in a row on the same shaft, a cable guide device 6, a multicore cable stripper 7, a cable outside diameter determining mechanism 4, and a power transmitter 5. The above rotating edges are made in plural numbers each in both of the above rollers in a pair, and the interval between the rotating edges in the first roller is different from the interval between the rotating edges in the second roller. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO</p> |
