PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless system and a receiver by an OFDM modulation system capable of performing transmission path distortion compensation by following changes in steep transmission path distortion without increasing the number of pilot subcarriers. SOLUTION: An OFDM signal is constituted so that a frequency of the pilot sub-carrier changes every OFDM symbol in an arbitrary cycle. In an information subcarrier distortion estimating part 103, the amount of transmission path distortion of a preamble signal of the same frequency arrangement and a plurality of pilot subcarriers is calculated every specified period of time. Using the calculation results of distortion amount, the amount of transmission path distortion of each information sub-carrier of the same frequency arrangement as the pilot subcarrier whose amount of distortion has been calculated and in the same specified period of time is interpolation-estimated, and in an information subcarrier distortion compensating part 104, distortion compensation of each information subcarrier is performed by using interpolation-estimated results.
