PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To inform an incoming call by displaying or sound-outputting the incoming call information by an incoming call device other than the communication device when the incoming call arrives. SOLUTION: A portable phone 10 with a number display function has an infra-red ray LED driving circuit 16, and generates and transmits the incoming call information when the incoming call arrives. For example, a remote control receiving unit of a TV receiver 20 receives the information, and informs it by displaying on a display screen 25 of itself and/or sound-outputting from a loud speaker. In this case, if calling source information is previously registered in the portable phone 10, the receiving part displays the incoming call information with the calling source information added thereto.
