PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent erroneous operations by detecting a state where a user holds a terminal closely to the ear using a signal of a built-in camera without providing an exclusive sensor, and invalidating the input from an input means such as a touch panel in this state. SOLUTION: An information processing terminal with a function of cellular telephone having a built-in camera has the input means employing the touch panel; a camera for photographing an object; an object approach discriminating means for discriminating whether the object approaches the camera by the degree of focusing based on a signal of this camera; and a cellular telephone function with a transmission unit, a reception unit and a communication unit. In this terminal, when the object approach discriminating means recognizes the approach of an object to the camera on the basis of the degree of focusing during calling by the cellular telephone function, the input signal from the input means is invalidated.
