PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily perform working without operating support sections which support a work as obstacles when the work transferred and supported is to be worked. SOLUTION: The support sections which transfer and support a car body panel in an upright position is provided at two positions in forward and backward positions of the car body on a carriage 7, the rear support section 3 out of the support sections can be moved approachably and detachably to the support sections ahead along linear guide rails 11. An external driving mechanism 23 provided on the side of the linear guide rails 11 rotates an coupling arm 31 by a driving cylinder 33 to connect an arm side connection section 65 at the top with a connection section 25 of the support section 3. Under the condition, the air is fed to a guide lock 19 of the support section 3 through an air feeding inlet 65b and an air feeding inlet 25 which are mutually connected to release the locking of the guide lock 19 with the linear guide rails 11. The support section 3 is moved to a predetermined position corresponding to the shape of the work by a support section driving unit 35 of the external driving mechanism 23. COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
