PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for warping warp yarns capable of easily matching the initial positions for winding each of colored yarns in the case of forming a warping beam by drawing the colored yarns from yarn delivering packages mounted at warping creel positions having different distances from a warping drum in warping, and also capable of easily matching the initial winding positions of colored yarns delivered from each of the fabric-forming beams on forming one fabric-forming beam from in a plurality of warping beams. SOLUTION: The method of warping the warp yarns, selecting at least one yarn from in a plurality of packages of different colors or in a plurality of packages of different kinds, and delivering yarn-feeding packages obtained by winding continuously while measuring the lengths by the prescribed lengths is provided by including a leading yarn in the yarn-feeding packages and further, changing the lengths of the leading yarns corresponding to the position of the warping creels for mounting the yarn-feeding packages.
