PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a film coated uniformly by application using a capillary coater. SOLUTION: Acceleration, at the time of moving a glass substrate 4 after a coating liquid at a top end of a nozzle 6 comes into contact with a lower surface of the glass substrate 4, is made to be within the range between 0.15 m/s2and 0.9 m/s2.
